An exploration in objects.
My new studio includes an inspirational boutique featuring one-of-a-kind furnishings, antiques and select quantities of rare and unique merchandise. I curate these items not only for my clients, but also for myself, as a source of creative stimulation.
My in-house boutique is my way of keeping a finger on the pulse of talented craftsman and of staying abreast of international products not yet found in the States. These artisans and pieces of art allow me to fill my work space with the things I love. From time to time a client will see a showpiece in my studio, and we will build an entire room or concept around it. Other times, the same piece is simply a new accessory, like a new friend that speaks to you and livens up an existing room so you can see it in a fresh light.
My boutique is not a store. The furnishings there are limited, they are unique, they are inspiring. They are conversation starters. They showcase the artists I work with and promote. They are a window to the heart and soul of my designs, a laboratory where I invite you to work together with me.
