Set of 6 Sven Markelius Orchestra Chairs, Sweden 1930s

Set of six chairs by Sven Markelius, Sweden, c.1930s. These chairs feature a minimalist modern design, the chair backs are composed of hardwood birch while the seat is made up of bent plywood. The chairs were originally designed for the Helsingborg Concert Hall but, today, would make a perfect addition around any dining table.
